Coming to Bozeman, Montana
The Big Sky Mountain Village, where the Yellowstone Conference Center is located, lies about 80 km (50 miles) south of the city of Bozeman, Montana (USA). The closest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) located 15 km northwest of Bozeman city center. It is used by all major US airlines with multiple daily flights to all major airport hubs in the US (from west coast to east coast). Ground transportation options between the airport and the venue include the Link Express bus, door-to-door van, taxi, and rental car. The venue is central to all lodgings, restaurants and points of interest in the town of Big Sky, which is made of two main villages.

Big Sky Resort highly recommends booking your transportation to and from the Bozeman airport ahead of time. Uber, Lyft and other app based car services are not frequent or reliable in the Big Sky area.

There are a total of 57 restaurants listed for the Big Sky area (https://www.visitbigsky.com/things-to-do/dining/. Most of them concentrated in the Mountain and Meadow villages.
Average daily high temperatures in Big Sky in June are 20-24ºC (70-80ºF), with lows of 3-5ºC (37-42ºF) and a 20% daily chance of precipitation. Because of the high altitude (2200 m), the atmosphere is consistently dry and precautions must be taken for proper hydration at all times.
Attendees who need a visa for entering the United States, are recommended to start the process early.
Conference organizers can provide a Letter of Invitation, which can be used as additional material in the visa application for entering the United States.
- Register for the conference and select “Yes, I request an Invitation Letter”
- Conference Organizer will email with a secure link for entering personal information needed for the visa such as passport numbers. It is not secure to transmit personal information through the registration form or via email.
- Once information is received, Conference Organizers will send the Letter of Invitation.
